Job Title: Shipper and ReceiverJob DescriptionThe Shipping Specialist is responsible for preparing and packaging final products for shipment, processing shipments electronically within the ERP system, printing packing slips and bills of lading, and scheduling LTL shipments when needed. Shipping Specialists verify correct products and quantities against the packing slip, and ensure all shipments are labeled, picked up by the correct carrier, and delivered safely without damage to the right address. They are able to package efficiently to avoid packaging waste and use best packaging practices using boxes, pallets, and crate building to keep the product protected. Shipping Specialists also ensure all paperwork is filled out, filed, and that shipping transactions are accurate and complete.Hard Skills
